Another Update - The Prophecy 4

I’ve just sent The Prophecy 4 to Nifty for posting. It should be up by tomorrow. The delay was caused by my social activities. I’m still dating …
… Imagine! At my age!

I had actually finished it three days ago but didn't have the time to post it. I have also finished The Prophecy 5 but I will send it to Nifty once The Prophecy 4 is posted. I really hope that everyone is still enjoying the story.

The 3rd Part of Prophecy is Out!

I really must say an emphatic sorry to all my readers. I had not updated this blog, and I had taken a long time to post the next part of “The Prophecy” out on Nifty. Someone from my past has come back to my life and, like the song Hopeless Devoted to You from Grease: My head is saying, “Fool forget him,” my heart is saying, “Don’t let go!” So I am meeting him and walking on eggshells. I don’t know if I can take another heartbreak, especially with my health just recovering. Neither do I want to be alone. At my age, the right one is hard to come by. So as my heart and mind carries out this battle, I am going out for dinner and movies again. I’m not a spring chicken anymore and my evening activities in this late spring/early autumn season has had a toll on my body. I sleep the moment my head touches the pillow.

Right now, I’m almost done with Part 4 and hope to send it to Nifty soon. I’d like to thank those who have written me. (If you look down at the bottom of each entry to the blog, you can see how many people have written me.) A special thanks to one who suggested I use a particular programme. I haven’t started using the programme because it takes a long time for me to learn computer programmes. I am much better remembering html tags. With respect to that person who has re-entered my life, I’m going to take it one day at a time. I hope I’ll be able to let go of all expectations and savour only the moment.

Thanks to all for your support.

New Book Out

I feel terrible about not blogging much during the last month. However, I hope that the readers will find the new part - The Prophecy interesting reading. For those who have had read the first version of the story, I haven’t changed much by way of content; I’ve changed the way the story is told. It is no longer in a strict chronological sequence. It’s told according to the persons involved in the story.

For those who are new to the series. In Book III, Friendships, I introduced two new and important characters: Jacques and Heath. I had a single response which was really heartwarming. Thanks for the encouragement, Helena.

Book IV: The Prophecy shows how Jorg and the couple, Jacques and Heath, are connected. In doing this rewrite, I’ve realised how much I’ve written. After reading some parts, I asked myself: Did I really write this? Sometimes, it seems too good to have come from my hand. At other times, I had to correct terrible dialogue and grammar.

Lifewise, things seem to be slowing down except that I was left to respond to a group of irate customers. It isn’t my job to meet irate customers. There’s customer service for that. This was a very special complaint. It was the fault of the company and so I had to really address the situation. I hope I don't lose my job if it means a substantial expense from the company. I remember asking myself why I allow myself to get into these tight spots ...

Enough of the complaints. Life goes on. I live one day at a time now. My illness several years ago thought me that. The Pellegrine will still go on. The writing keeps me sane.
