Back On My Feet

I 've no doubt that my friends, who read the yarns I weave, are frustrated with my abrupt disappearance. Yet, I am confident that they will understand my predicament.

It has been a trying few months for me. A stressed out working environment and the problems I've been having woth my health recently have taken their toll on me. The doctor ordered me to get away for six months. I've been at a relative's house getting back my strength. Though I'd all the time for writing, I couldn't.

I was depressed. When one finds himself suddenly deprived of activity, his repressed emotions emerge. I found myself visiting the emotional places that I had tucked away. Of course, my kind relatives took away the computer from me. They reasoned that since my work involved being in front of a computer terminal most of the day, a computer would be the last thing I should have unrestricted access to. Thus, I found myself writing little notes and trying to gather my thoughts as best I can for my writing. I did try to get some writing done. Unfortunately, all I could manage was to post corrections for the two latest parts of my stories.

Now that I am back home again, I will be able to start writing. I just hope that my work (that which pays the rent and puts my meals on the table) has not stagnated too much in my absence.
