I'm back!

I know! I know! I’d disappeared from the face of the planet for many weeks. I’m back now. The winter temperatures were quite bad and the weather affected my health. I’d thought I’d a relapse but it was more a general fatigue. I kept my daily schedule simple during December: work and home. The Christmas holidays were also very quiet for me. I went back to my mother’s and had two days with the rest of the family, who were visiting. They enquired about my health as I was looking quite haggard. Fortunately, the two days with the family helped me as I had a good rest. Once back after the holidays, I picked up writing again. However, I had to read quite a bit to see where I was in the story. Those who had read a previous version of the story would notice that I had added some new things.

So, after finishing the latest parts, I have sent Ambitious Magus 7 to Nifty. I hope to send in the last chapter of Ambitious Magus (8) to Nifty in a couple of days. After that, I will start in the next book. It’s a brief book but a very important one as it will link to the next arc of the tale revolving around The Pellegrine.

The end of another Book!

A Brother’s Secret has ended with my sending of part 8 to nifty. It has been quite a challenge trying to improve the original story and coding it in simple html. Yet, I think it was a rewarding one. I’ve gotten a couple of email from readers. Even though I told myself that I would not allow the lack of letters affect me, the receipt of mail can only encourage me further. Thanks to those who have mailed me. I usually don’t know if you’d like your names mentioned, so I don’t unless you give me permission to. :)

The next story will be quite an action-filled one. It will tell the story of Matt’s brush with his biological father. Jorg, of course, is going to protect the boy. Jacques, Heath and the rest of the gang are going to chip in as well. Hope you readers will like it.

Finally A Brother's Secret 6

Finally! I sent A Brother’s Secret to Nifty. I was still in the holiday mood since the last post and I had actually got behind in my work. That was awful. I felt like a holiday junkie! Nevertheless, I have managed to get part 6 done and sent it off. It should appear in the Nifty site in a day or two.

Holiday lapses

It was a glorious holiday! I had taken some time off to be in the hills during the holiday. As a result, I didn't have the time to post my stories. It's already almost a month. I'll get on to work with it and then the next parts would emerge.

My apologies for not warning my readers for this hiatus. I feel recharged and so I can work much better right now.

Thousand Apologies

I know! I know! I haven’t posted here for quite a while. My last post on Nifty was May 29th! Things have been getting quite hectic lately and my body has kind of given in to the stress. I had gotten very tired after work and the summer’s longer days aren’t helping much. Any way, the doctor warned me about straining myself too much. I haven’t had a very bad day since I recovered and he told me that the bad days would come quicker unless I took things easy. How would the doctor understand? I’m trying to balance my chequebook even though I’m not living lavishly. A huge part of my earnings go into my medicine. I can’t get any generic types until the patent for it runs out. That’s what the doctor says when I complain of the cost of the medicine. I just hope that when it does run out, the doctor doesn’t surprise me with a new medicine “that is more effective.”

Enough griping! I’m still alive and living comfortably. That’s more than what I can say for some of the people living in my city. I have to be thankful. Anyway, I have just posted the next part of the Pellegrine story on Nifty. I hope you’ll like it. Ciao!

The Aurelia

There’s another Section of The Pellegrine sent to Nifty: Aurelia. It’s connected to Jacques’ father. It will also explain the title of the whole work. I hope you will find it interesting.
